The Barangay LGU of Barangay Sta. Maria collects and processes personal data in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
Information collected. Full name, birthdate, gender, mobile number, email address, residential address, and, when provided, photographs and geolocation data submitted with an incident report.
Purpose of collection. This information is collected solely for the legitimate purpose of receiving, verifying, and acting upon incident reports, maintaining barangay records, and enabling the barangay to respond to and follow up on reported incidents.
Data sharing. Personal data is accessible only to authorized barangay officials and personnel for official use. It is not sold, rented, or disclosed to private third parties, except when required by law or by order of a competent government authority.
Data storage and retention. Data is stored using reasonable organizational and technical safeguards and is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes stated above or as required by applicable records retention laws.
Your rights. Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, and to request the deletion of your personal data. Requests may be coursed through the Barangay Office identified in the Emergency Contacts section of this application.
